This is the replacement for the older Dyson units. Dyson uses two different motors in the DC07/14. This motor will not find in Dysons manufactured with the Panasonic motor without modification of the fancase seal. (Instructions can be found in Tech Tips 06-11-09.) To identify the Panasonic motor, the fancase seal has "Panasonic only" embossed into the rubber.

5 3/16" fan diameter. A thermocouple is secured to the field coil.
